ghost with green eyes [12 Dec 2007|12:08am] baby blue pajama bottoms. they had some print splayed over them: pandas. or maybe umbrellas. did i invent this memory? no, it is too vivid, coupled with the feeling of damp grass under our feet, and moonbeams shooting through the trees. i don't recall the smallest bit of conversation. maybe you didn't speak, instead only grinning at some private thought, probably having nothing to do with me, worlds away from the present moment. maybe we attempted small talk, like most times in the past few years, the years i can remember. or maybe it was a deeply personal moment for us, sharing with one another secrets we didn't know we were keeping. i can't remember. all i can remind myself of, time and time again, is those baby blue pajama bottoms, green eyes and hair ties. today we will be saving the universe

[31 Oct 2005|11:00pm] [ music | eagers seas ] this morning we drove back into savannah just as the sun was coming up. a weekend in the mountains of north georgia was just what i needed...to give me pneumonia. or the flu at least. now it's halloween night, and all of my friends (except for those who joined me this weekend) are out going to parties and i simply do not feel well enough to go along. i know i haven't updated in a long while, but my computer was broken for about 2 weeks, and the rest of the time i was just lazy. it seems i'll be going out of town for the next two weekends too, so i'll be missing all of the great shows coming up. i'm glad there is at least something going on in savannah again though. i really want to go play baseball the next free saturday i have, too. 2 have a note to excuse themselves| today we will be saving the universe

[13 Jul 2005|09:43pm] my birthday week extravaganza is half-over. after getting my i-pod (a miracle sent directly from heaven), i spent the weekend in charlotte. last night was masato's, and just now, while riding back from dinner with mikele and lance through the giant storm, our car got struck by lightning!!!! my arm is still burning because it was sitting on the window. mikele is going back to austria this weekend, but he will always remember the sound of an electric charge against metal every time he listens to "azelay" dying. friday morning lance and i are visiting the hurricane victims in ft. walton beach (most notably, our dear friend jon). then we are moving 4 days later, to an apartment complex that was just made newsworthy due to a shooting. i can't wait. 6 have a note to excuse themselves| today we will be saving the universe
